Hi, I’m Beverly

I’m a yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and personal trainer who believes movement should feel purposeful and joyful. My classes offer thoughtful instruction, encourage self-inquiry, and include just enough humor to keep things real. My goal is to support your efforts in improving your strength, balance, mobility, and—most importantly—a deeper sense of connection to yourself.

My philosophy

“The goal is not to push past limitations, but to understand them—and gradually, intelligently, move through them.”

Teaching with curiosity and care

Movement should feel easy, purposeful, even joyful. My classes and private sessions offer thoughtful instruction, encourage self-inquiry, and include just enough humor to keep things real. My goal is to support your efforts in improving your strength, balance, mobility, and—most importantly—a deeper sense of connection to yourself.

My first career as a financial journalist taught me how to listen, ask meaningful questions, and make complex ideas accessible. That same approach shapes how I teach: clear, curious, and grounded in real life.

Students often come to me looking for stronger bones, improved muscle strength and flexibility, better balance, greater mobility, or relief from pain and stiffness. Those outcomes matter. What frequently surprises people is everything else they gain along the way: a deeper awareness of how their body works, greater trust in themselves, and a clearer understanding of how to move with strength, stability, and confidence.

I’m honored to live and teach in Jackson Heights, Queens, a community that continues to shape and inspire my work.
